The Parrot & Peony Chinoiserie All-over Stencil will allow you to create hand-printed wallpaper effects with tropical birds and chinoiserie style flowers and foliage and takes repeat stencilling and chinoiserie design to a whole new level! Exciting artwork for walls and fabric, with a multitude of motifs. Exotic macaw parrots, cockatoo and parakeets sit amongst profusely flowering branches of oriental peonies, full blown roses and blossom sprays, with orchid, hibiscus, bamboo and fuchsia, flying humming bird, dragonflies and butterfly! All carefully woven into an innovative drop repeat, which extends the size of the repeated area and creates a magical, enchanting all-over pattern effect.
This is achieved on two large detailed sheets, working on a chequer-board layout with registration dots for aligning each successive repeat. Also with third sheet of details and extra motifs. Large detailed drop repeat stencil on two large sheets of 125 micron mylar with additional details sheet. Advanced stencil. Drop repeat works on a chequer board alternating placement, sheets have alignment registration dots for drop repeat alignment. Comes with full step-by-step guidelines.

Handy tips
The Parrot and Peony Chinoiserie All-Over Repeat Stencil will allow you to create high-end hand-painted wallpaper effects. It is glorious stencilled in full colour or as a stunning silhouette style design.
Our illustrations show the stencil in full colour on a plain white wall bringing colour to a room year round. To create a uniformity of colour all the flowering and blossom parts of the design are stencilled first in Blossom Pink , all the leaves in Willow and all the branches in Mocha Stencil Paint. These motifs are then over-stencilled and blushed with different colours. Peonies and roses Sorbet and Peony, with Harvest Gold stamens. Orchids Very Berry with Sorbet centres. Hibiscus with Very Berry and Seville Orange, with Harvest Gold centres. Fuchsias Sorbet and Peony. Leaves with Willow, Hedgerow and Verbena. Parrots stencilled in bright vibrant colours including Very Berry Paradise Blue, Persian Blue, Harvest Gold, Hedgerow, Verbena, Woodland with details in Seville Orange, Coffee Bean, Charcoal and Ice white.
Of course the design can be stencilled in any number of colours, single-tone palettes being easier and quicker to execute, the more varied and multi-tonal the colour palette, the longer the labour of love!! Shown here stencilled in a grey mix of our long lasting Fabric Paint on a pale blue voile curtain. Providing you have a large enough table surface, stencilling fabric can be easier than walls, as fabric is more absorbent and minimises the risks of paint bleeding whilst stencilling.
