Inspired by Moroccan tiles the Moroccan Ornamental Border Stencil is a simple bold classical border design. The combination of simple curves and ornate arabesque motifs make for a charming and adaptable border design. One sheet stencil with useful registration dots for easy repeat alignment. Stencilled in Harvest Gold, Yellow Ochre in Very Berry, Sienna (coming soon) Yellow Ochre, Harvest Gold and Summer Skies Stencil Paints and finished with Acrylic Matt Varnish. The Moroccan Ornamental Border Stencil shown here simply stencilled in Vanilla Stencil Paint on a pale coffee background. Use light colours on darker contrasting backgrounds to bring out the lace-like qualities and intricacies of the design. And darker colours on light backgrounds for a bolder more striking effect. One repeat of the Moroccan Ornamental Border Stencil measures up to 60.2cm/23.75" wide x 15.2cm/6" deep.
The registration dots on this design also align with the registration dots of both the Moroccan Ornamental Tile Design Stencils (full and quarter repeats) so the border can be aligned with these designs.
