The Large Buttercup Stencil is a stylishly simple, modern design based on everyone’s childhood favourite – the buttercup. Henny has developed this versatile contemporary design of this well-known flower to be stencilled as a single flower or in groups or as a random repeat.

The Large Buttercup Stencil is brilliant for creating random effects on walls, feature panels and fabrics and linens. The three sheet stencil allows you to arrange and design the buttercup flowers as you choose, to fit required areas. The buttercup flowers can be used with the stalk motifs to create tall flowing flowers either individually, or in rows, or grouped in ‘bunches’. Or use the buttercup flowers on their own as a randomly repeated motif to create a stylish, wallpaper effects or fabric designs – see different examples on this page.

Description

This design works well stencilled in both multi-coloured and single colour palettes on white walls, or in white or pale colours on coloured painted walls. The design can be stencilled in pale, muted colourways for an effect that is subtle and discreet, or bold, striking colours for contrast and graphic appeal.  The design also works well in Metallic Stencil Paints for subtle reflective finishes.

Stencil Rollers make stencilling this stencil even easier, particularly if you are stencilling white onto deeper base colours – the roller will help to build opacity.

Product Specifications

One layer design. Easy to use stencil. Comes in three large sheets/separate stencil sections. Flower and stalk measurements are as follows:

The largest buttercup flower motifs are 32cm (12 1/2″) and 31cm (12 1/4″) wide.
The medium sized flower motif is 21cm (8 1/4″) wide.
The smallest flower motif is 14.5cm (5 3/4″) wide.
The 2 half-flowers are up to 14.5cm (8 3/4″) tall.
The grass-stalks are 15cm (6″) high.
The two taller flower stalks (made of two parts each) are up to 55cm (21 1/2″).
The single flower stalk is 40cm (15 3/4″) high.
